Stir the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan mixture. and simmer until the mixture is thick. Spoon the mixture into each of the pie dough lined muffin tin slots.

1. Cut your apples into pieces so that there not too big but also not too small.
2. In a small pot melt your butter.
3. When the butter is fully melted add the sugar and mix until you get a paste. Then add your water.
4. To this add your cinnamon. You can add more or less cinnamon depends on how much you like.
5. Add in your apples and mix well. Let the apples sit for a little bit. (the more crisp your apple is the less bland it will be after baking). Make sure to let it cool, if it seems too runny you can add a little bit of cornstarch to thicken it.
6. Put the filling into your crust.
7. Put your top crust on and do an egg wash. (I decided to add a little Christmas décor)
8. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 min or until golden brown.
9. Enjoy!

Top each mini apple pie with the crumb topping. Remove the extra pie dough from the refrigerator, cut out your designs for the tops of the pies, and place them on top. Remove crust from pouch; unroll on work surface. Using large round cookie cutter, cut out rounds. Apple pie is as all-American as dessert gets.
